While there are school management systems out there, Hyssop Finance Manager for Schools (HFMS) is probably the first of its kind as it combines accounting and school management in one system.

With Hyssop Finance Manager for Schools, you register students in the usual way, entering personal information and the system assigns IDs. By simply registering a student, HFMS automatically creates an invoice and debits Fees Receivable account while crediting Fees Income account

When payment is made by cash or bank, HFMS automatically debits Cash/Bank account and credits Fees Receivable account. 

On the school management side, HFMS provides a window where examination scores or grades are entered. HFMS automatically converts the scores to percentage if needed and also inserts comments fit for the score. 

Once the grades are entered, HFMS produces school reports for all the students in the selected class. It even highlights the subjects in which the student is either strongest or weakest and includes remarks from the class teacher and the head teacher as per the system configuration. It will also indicate when the next term opens. With just the signatures from the class teacher and the head teacher and probably the school stamp, the school report is good to go.
